The process begins by creating an account on our website or through the WeShareBikes app, giving you access to our platform and the opportunity to share your unused bike or rent a bike. If you have a bike that often goes unused, you can easily offer it for rental. Simply upload a photo and description, and set your price, allowing you not only to share your bike but also to generate extra income.

 

For renters, the platform is user-friendly and enables them to quickly find available bikes in their area. We leverage smart technology, such as an advanced bike lock, to make bike sharing safe and efficient. This ensures that both owners and renters always have access to the bike whenever and wherever they need it.

 

The potential rental income depends on the occupancy rate of your bike. For example, at a 20% occupancy rate, you can earn €271.01 annually, which amounts to €22.58 per month. At 40% occupancy, that increases to €542.02 per year and €45.16 per month. With a 60% occupancy rate, the annual income is €813.03, or €67.75 per month. Finally, at an 80% occupancy rate, you could earn as much as €1084.05 per year, equating to €90.33 per month.

 

Payments are processed securely through our platform, and after the rental period, both bike owners and renters can rate each other. This helps build trust within our community.
